[Beat woke up this morning, thinking things would be like always. He'd railslide downstairs, maybe not hit Haruhi's wall for once, check up on Shiki, then go hide from school by futzing around in the Battle Dome for most of the day.

What he got was rolling over and finding an egg.

An egg.

Housemates of House 10 can hear him screaming, as will neighbors most likely. In his panic, he grabs his journal and turns it on, facing the camera toward the little white egg in his bed.]

THE HELL DO I DO?! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!

RIBBONS!

I AIN'T HAVIN' YO' CHICKEN-BABIES! YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!!

... No... An egg has to be fertilized for it to be able to become a chicken... That's why there are roosters and hens... Hens lay eggs but without the rooster to fertilize them there's no chicken in the making.

[If it is a fertilized egg, she still has doubts but that's how she rolls. Always thinking that people are playing a prank on her up until the last moment, it's easier that way. Besides, she just finds it strange that anyone would want him to take care of an egg and just leave it for him to find and have a heart-attack. What if the egg fell and broke by accident before he found it? Still so far she hasn't seen any serious pranks in Luceti so she's willing to think that it was just a lapse of judgment and it's not a prank.

Besides he obviously is serious about it and cares, she can't just turn away from that.]
