AIGHT, so it sounds like a lotta you guys got feelin's or somethin' to work out 'cause of what happened. Not 'cause of the stupid Culturists comin' in, but you know, the other thing.

WELL, IT AIN'T GETTIN' WORKED OUT BY ITSELF.

An' since I ain't so good at talkin' and I know some people here ain't so good at it neither 'cause you got emotion Legos or somethin', I've got some pads up on the trees and I'm gonna go punch stuff. [And if he's not found behind House 10 punching trees with boxing pads duct-taped to them, he's inside helping around the house for once. Mainly, he's trying to clean; trying being the operative word. He does pretty well at sweeping up and vacuuming, but dusting is not his forte. It takes too much concentration and finesse and he spends most of his time catching all the things he knocked off the shelves.

Later, in the evening, he's on the porch of House 10 or out in the plaza and practicing his reading with a flashlight. It's slow going since Shiki left, but he figures she'll come back one day and then he's got to show that he improved or she'll probably slug him in the face.]

Noise're these monsters that tried t'kill us. Some of 'em were kinda noisy. And yeah, pretty nosey, since they ain't never leave us alone, stupid jerks.

[Beat goes to grab his skateboard and adjusts the pins that are always attached to his waistband.]

But anyway - the board gives me some good air, see?

[He jumps on the board and the pins activate, shooting him straight up into the air a good ten feet.]

That's a real shame-

[It's a very curious thing. He'd like to ask more about those creatures and the struggles Beat faced at home. However, all of those thoughts are gone the moment he goes up into the air.

Aang immediately flips his staff into glider mode and rides up to match him.]

Beat, that's amazing! It's like you're airbending a board!

Nah, it's nothin' 'bout bendin' nothing.

[He grins when Aang flies up to meet him and lifts the edge of his shirt, showing the two pins there.]

See 'em? This is how I get 'round.

[He watches in wonder as he circles around Beat.]

[He hangs there in the air, standing on his board and trying to maintain balance as he points to the two on his waistband.]

Jus' know they work. When I got a partner, it works betta'. Got some kinda combo system and they line up, but I dunno how it works. Rhyme knew and Phones figured it out, so I just left it up to them.

I'm all about the air and the crash.

[The pins flash and he slams back to the ground, knocking hard against a rock before bouncing back up into the air.]

S'how I fought the Noise.

I see. I really do love teamwork!

I'm all about air, too! Just not as much-

[And then he watches in marveling awe at Beat's move.]

-the crash. That was really cool, Beat! But you know, Sokka would say it's a lot easier to fight noise with earplugs. [He says jokingly.]

HA! Earplugs ain't gonna do much if the Noise're tryin' to eat you, but tha's a good one.

So you got a team too, right, Arrows?

A team? What do you mean by that?

Yanno, yo' posse! Buncha friends you go 'round wit' all the time?

Oh, of course! [He brightens up as he starts talking about one of his favorite subjects, his friends.] There's Katara and Sokka and Toph Zuko and Suki and Appa and Momo, and here in Luceti there's Korra and Bolin and Asami and Ikki and Naga and Pabu too even if they're from the future. You know, Sokka even likes to call us Team Avatar!

Oh! You know Bo? Hey, he's a bro of mine, too! And Sooks. She's pretty coo'.

I don't think so. I know I never met anyone named Phones. [He just might have met someone named Neku once, though.] I think I heard of Shiki, but I never met her.

Shiki ran All Passions. Phones was... He always wore a pair a' headphones, so tha's why I called 'im that. Kinda like how I call you Arrows, yanno?
