☆7 [action] starting at House 10, ending up all over Luceti

[Since people are out and about, Beat's been skateboarding a lot more, but... Well, he does feel a little bad that he basically skipped town on Shiki's lesson and then had Roy wheelbarrow him out of there. To make up for it today, he's sitting in his room and reading. Or trying to. The journal just might pick him up as he tries his best.]

..."My hat is"...goh-neh? What? Uh...Goon?

...

"Gone. My hat is gone. I want it back."

...The hell?

...Uh. Aight.

"Have you..." ...uh...

...Dammit.

[OOC: Beat is going to be chased around Luceti looking for a place to read in peace. Feel free to have him show up anywhere including in your kitchen for who knows what reason. o/]

Win the Game to regain what you lost. It's that simple. You don't need to kick my ass in order to do that.
neverplaysfair: (Why show us what we can never reach?)

[ Beat, he's not a Reaper, he's a Composer. These are distinctly different. ]

... Winning still won't bring back what's already been permanently lost. You can't change those rules.
neverplaysfair: (Why don't we play one last Game?)

She can still live a fulfilling life without it. There is never anything so important that all is lost if it vanishes.

There isn't, and to think otherwise is narrow-minded and selfish.

[ Joshua himself was on the edge of losing Shibuya. To him, nothing in the world is more important. But he knows that the world itself, in the end, cares very little about what his own feelings are. ]
neverplaysfair: (Hee hee... It seems I've won.)

[personal profile] neverplaysfair 2012-04-10 09:54 pm (UTC)(link)
And that is why you would make a terrible Composer.

[ Joshua giggles and leans back against the sink. ]
neverplaysfair: (Shame it didn’t work out.)

[personal profile] neverplaysfair 2012-04-11 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
[ Because Josh only lets people he trusts punch him in the face. ]

... You know, we had an experiment like that once.

[ ... actually, twice. But the second time it was Hanekoma who became a Composer, not Neku. ]

[ Nope, sorry, Josh likes keeping his prettyboy face intact and unbruised. And Beat if anyone would be able to break his nose or jaw or remove a few of his teeth. ]

That's simple. Anything less wouldn't have worked.
neverplaysfair: (Shame it didn’t work out.)

[ /Sigh

/Freeze ]

Must we do this again?

[ That's what he gets for attacking in the first place. :| ]

And you didn't beat it by charging head first down the most obvious path, either. What do you think you're even trying to accomplish?
neverplaysfair: (That was a nice distraction.)

[personal profile] neverplaysfair 2012-04-11 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
[ No, he beat it because Hanekoma swooped in and saved his ass. At least the first time. ]

Because Composers need to think.
neverplaysfair: (Why don't we play one last Game?)

[personal profile] neverplaysfair 2012-04-11 06:14 am (UTC)(link)
[ Oh Beat, don't do that. You'll waste your energy and if you're persistent enough, you'll give Josh a small headache. ]

Don't like the idea?
neverplaysfair: (Your timer must be nearly ticked out.)

[personal profile] neverplaysfair 2012-04-11 06:49 am (UTC)(link)
[ And Joshua scratches at the back of his head near his neck. This whole "limited power" thing is always annoying when he finds evidence of the edges of his limitations. At least back in Shibuya he had a very clear idea where the lines were. ]

Alright. Why are you doing this?
neverplaysfair: (That was a nice distraction.)

[personal profile] neverplaysfair 2012-04-11 08:19 pm (UTC)(link)
[ That's okay. Joshua is persistent. ]

Why?
