[Since people are out and about, Beat's been skateboarding a lot more, but... Well, he does feel a little bad that he basically skipped town on Shiki's lesson and then had Roy wheelbarrow him out of there. To make up for it today, he's sitting in his room and reading. Or trying to. The journal just might pick him up as he tries his best.]

..."My hat is"...goh-neh? What? Uh...Goon?

"Gone. My hat is gone. I want it back."

[OOC: Beat is going to be chased around Luceti looking for a place to read in peace. Feel free to have him show up anywhere including in your kitchen for who knows what reason. o/]

[Hello strange person sitting outside her house and reading stuff. What a strange place to read... Not that Yotsuba minds at all given she recognises that book.

Poking her head out of one of the windows and asking Beat in the most 'hello I am a bear and I have lost my hat' tone of voice she can muster:]

"Have you seen my hat?"

[Wait. Beat turns his head and looks over, seeing a little green haired girl next to him. ]

[He flips the book off his lap and into a nearby bush.]

Where the hell you come from?!

[Why is he yelling?! Ah whatever, she wants to join in too.]

Yotsuba came from the window, see? This is a window. [Popping back inside for a moment and then with a click she pushes open the front door of the house and reappears!] And this is a door!!

He watches her crawl back through the window and turns to see her come out the door.

But that's where Yotsuba came from. [And he did ask after all, she's just answering the question! Now then, bushes really aren't the places for books to be kept, so she'll toddle on over to the nearby bush and start trying to fish the book out.]

Were you reading? I learnt how to do some of that back home, books are good for reading new things.

[Geh! He jumps up and picks Yotsuba up - her being five and him being a moose of a fifteen year old, this isn't too hard. Then he sets her back on the porch, away from the book and the bush.]

[This board with wheels on is intriguing. It's like a cart only smaller and you stand on it... She wants on.]

[He rolls up to where she is and steps off, keeping one foot on the back of the board so when she gets up she won't just end up on her butt.]

[Pushing herself up off the floor and giving Beat her best I'M TOTALLY ON THE VERGE OF TEARS BUT NOPE GONNA HOLD IT IN face.]

[.............................. He looks down at her knees and then pats her off to get some of the dust gone. And wow, she's...so young. It's cute. :<]

Y-yeah! Yotsu's a big tough skateboarder! She ain't gonna cry over this, huh? High five, kid. You just ate your first dirt.

[Aw yeah, high five! Holding her hand up as high as she can be cause hey it is a high five after all.]
