For people in the town plaza on this lightly snowing day, they might notice a skull-hat beanie wearing kid suddenly just blink into existence again. Really, he's been here since before the moon crashed through the barrier, but he's been sadly invisible the entire time. Since he's gotten used to being unseen, he's just going to go about his business, kicking at walls and sitting on top of the fountain like it's completely normal.

Come tell him he's not the Invisible Man anymore?

[Voice | later in the day]

[Wait, that's Shiki. Shiki who apparently is looking at him.]

[He flails and slips off backwards from the fountain, landing with a splash in the water.]

[And that water's going to splash on her a little, causing her to yell out.]

Watch it! [But she's going to lean over to peer into the fountain.] ...Beat? Are you okay?

[Oh god, he's drow-- Okay, no, he's not. He sits up roughly, more water splashing as he does. And holy CRAP this water is cold. Teeth chattering, he stares up at Shiki, dumbfounded.]

Be...cause you're right there? [She reaches forward to poke Beat in the forehead.] Whatever happened to you must have wore off.

[Poking him in the forehead means he turns his head and sneezes. Loudly.]

[You're right to fear, Beat, because she's armed with Mr. Mew and not afraid to use him. But that excuse does make her pause enough.]

[He holds out a hand to Shiki, hoping to get a hand up out of this freezing cold fountain.]

At least things have calmed down...[And she'll grab his hand, hauling him up and out of the water.] Come on, I've got some towels at the shop you can use so you're not walking home like this.

[Oh thank god for towels. He was just going to trudge off like this and probably track ice and water into the house. Once out of the fountain, he shakes like a dog to get some of the water off.]

[She can't help but shriek a little when some of that water hits her, and she just glares briefly before letting go of Beat's hand and heading for the shop, expecting him to follow.] Were you spying on people this whole time?
