But either way, she just nods to herself and goes with punches- ... flaming punches. Really, the whole idea of punching at a non-humanoid enemy is an alien thing for her so she's not sure quite where to aim]

[He drops out of the air on top of the porcupine, then rises up again - only for it to disappear when Haruhi punches it again. It fizzes into static and Beat lands, grinning.]

[...Well shit. Turn and- Well, does she punch this thing or? She leaps a half step back and decides instead to just try to light it on fire with Eferin. Some muttering to herself and some flames come to be on a tentacle]

[The thing catches on fire and backs away. Meanwhile, Beat shakes off the sting and grabs his head.]

[Oh shi-- He turns and leaves his skateboard behind, jumping it to just punch at the thing with his fists.]

So basically we just beat-

[And then he's punching. She looks at his skateboard and then over to the thing, and takes up this moment to get on the board. She'd never used one before, but how hard can it be. A push off towards the jelly answers in that she's not totally used to the center of gravity and over-pushes... falling on her tush]
