Hey Luceti. Do you like sharks? Because there is now a shark with little yellow wings swimming around Luceti. Quite literally. As in, it's a shark that can swim through the ground and will occasionally pop up out of said ground and look confused. Luckily for you, Luceti, said shark also has little thought bubbles that sometimes come up. Good luck reading them, though.

[In a moment of panic, she's just going to whip that cookie she's holding right at him. Sure, a cookie is very rarely an effective weapon against anything much less a shark, but Pilouette isn't exactly thinking about that right now.]

[BAM right in the face. The shark flails and falls back under ground. From the ground comes a little thought bubble]

[Oh God, it's thinking at her. She didn't know sharks could do that! Is it some kind of psychic shark? There are psychic sharks?!]

L-Listen, you! I don't care what kind of shark you are! I've got like, a ton more cookies right here and I'm totally not afraid to use them!

[Mostly because her legs have decided that they don't want to work, so running isn't an option.]

[SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAARK whatwhat. Shark lands on the water and sits there a moment, then swims toward the weird...thinky skull.]

[And whipping another cookie at him. It's a terrible waste of food and she'll surely feel bad about it later, but dealing with this impolite shark is more important right now!]

[!! OW! The cookie beans his fin and Beat has to turn and swim further away, flipping out of the water to drop back down out of range.]

[ ... Why, hello fellow Noise. Joshua wasn't expecting to run into something almost as big as he is, but alas, here we both seem to be.

Luckily, being slightly more powerful than a high-level Reaper and in his own Noise form means that Joshua can actually talk, even if his voice sounds a bit distorted. And older. ]

[Gross, what is that thing. Beat!Shark floats to the surface to peer out at it. It looks like another Noise, but this thing is talking. A talking Noise. That's....freaky.]

[wtf the skull is talking to him. Then again, he's a shark. Uh....]

That was not a pleasant experiment. Let's not think about it and just focus on the fact that whoever this is at least knows that they're a Noise and has a means of communication. ]

No, but Reapers can talk even when they take the form of Noise.

Joshua spreads his Noise wings and takes a leap, trying to get himself way out of the way of the shark's path. He lands a good fifty or so feet away. ]

[HRAAAAAARH! The shark heaves itself forward out of the water and at the skull.]

AH! Get away or my clicking mandibles doom will end you! my, my powers of righteousness will be unleashed! I don't taste good!

[what. the shark noise comes up and -- doesn't quite make it. he can't bring himself to erase another Player in the Game. besides, why would he want to eat something that doesn't taste good?]

[She kind of hopes that's what he means. Otherwise she's going to feel really bad about chucking those cookies at him, especially since she already knew about all the shifts going on and just...didn't make the connection somehow.]
