[Tired of all the new feathers yet? Sorry, but here's another one - and he's loud. Very loud. So loud in fact that standing in the middle of the plaza, just about anyone in the vicinity can probably hear him. Why is he loud? Because he woke up in the fountain, soaked, with yellow wings and white cotton pants. He doesn't really realize that last part yet, however.

Once he's floundered his way out of the fountain, he finds a book with his name on it. His full name. Beat throws the journal at the fountain, bouncing it off the stone basin and turning it on.]

--OLD YOU THAT NAME?!

Stupid book. Hate books.

YO, PHONES!! PHOOOOOOOOONES!!! WHERE YOU AT?!

WHEN'D SHIBUYA GET A BIG-ASS PARK?

Oh, sorry 'bout that. 'm used ta' wakin' up in weird places, but tha's always the Scramble so it ain't so weird anymore. Now I'm at this fountain thing. Lookin' for Phones.

It'd be a really lame theme park if it was one. And people can see you so don't do anything weird, this isn't part of the Game. I'll explain, just stay right there.

[Neku's on his way out the door once Beat mentioned the stores. Good thing he's somewhere easy to find.]

[GAAAAH SHAKING THE BOOK. He wants to understand this place now plz.]

It's all right but I'm curious, what do you mean by waking up in the Scramble?

[Ah, since he's in the village she might as well go and get him. So shuffling around to get out of bed] I don't know anyone by the name of Phones but I'll be at the fountain shortly.

[The best way! :D Everyone should try it! ....or not because having more than one Beat is probably a disaster waiting to happen.]

Well, in the Game, you wake up in the Scramble. Just kinda...there. Pavement's good for boardin' but shit for sleepin' on, yo.

I'll be here. Gotta wait for Phones to show up.

... Well, I don't know what pins are. Or whatever the hell these 'Noise' things are. But whatever the case, we're all trapped here. [Sorry to say. :|] At least, until the people running this place give us a clue on how to bust out. I guess a lot of people'll've tried, but there haven't been any results.

[Neku brought his journal along but he's not bothering to respond back to Beat for now, only focusing on running toward the main plaza. JUST DON'T GO ANYWHERE, DUDE.

It'll be about ten minutes later when Neku finally appears, and as soon as he does he's looking around for him.]

[And what has Beat been doing in those ten minutes? Getting into a lot of trouble. A lot. And screaming more. PHONES, WHY AREN'T YOU PICKING UP YOUR PHONE BOOK!? He eventually gives up, however, and has managed to find his clothes at least. Even if he can't get his shirt on over the stupid wings. At least he has his hat. The hat is v. important.

Oh and now he's yelling again.]

PICK. UP. THE. BOOK. PHONE.

...PHONES!!!!

...wait. What's the last thing you remember?

[Oh Beat. SORRY ABOUT LEAVING YOU HANGING LIKE THAT but he really wanted to come find you. It's easier than trying to explain how to get to the house. Plus it gives Neku time to think of how to explain that he's suddenly about an inch and a half taller and proooobably looks slightly different.

Right after Beat yells for him, Neku is very nonchalantly answering him back as he's walking up behind him. Let's try to start this off calmly.]

Hey.

I'll see it if they are. And there's no movie theater that I've seen around here.

Huh? Uh.... I was fadin' out and then me n' Phones were gonna head to the River. Why?

Man, that blows. I was hopin' to see one when I came back.

...[Oh crap. Beat doesn't even know how it all ends? Great.] No reason.

Have you heard from Neku yet?

..... [Huh? Why ask then?] Aight.

And yeah, Phones's comin' I think. Said he would, but then he shut off the stupid phone book.
