[This was something he'd never expected to have happen. Coming down the stairs that morning, there was silence. No one in the kitchen, no sounds except for that of the chicken upstairs.
After checking Haruhi's room, he knew why. Immediately, he'd gone upstairs to wake up Rhyme and let her know, then he'd gone to the journal. He knew the village would want to know.]
Hey uh...this is Beat n' Rhyme. We gotta tell you guys somethin', so listen up, aight? 'Specially you Bridge people.
[Rhyme is just as equally surprised when Beat wakes her up to tell her the news. These things are never really expected since they happen so suddenly. She's happy, of course. Haruhi--no--no one deserves to be trapped in a place like this. It's not safe here. And yet there's still a sad and weird feeling lingering.
Especially when they have the house all to themselves now, when just a year ago every room was taken.]
...Haruhi Suzumiya has gone home. She didn't leave any letters behind but... she left a box of pictures of people that she knew. There are some really meaningful things written on the back of them too.
I don't think they're things that should be kept stored away so, if anyone in the brigade would like to come and take them and hang them up at the headquarters, I'd appreciate it.
[Rhyme will hang up any of Shiki or any of them in All Passions but the rest should be in there with the brigade. Some if not most of these must be pictures of the members. And since Rhyme was better at this than he was, Beat let her give the message. At the end, when everything was taken care of, Beat was silent for a moment, then he clicked his tongue in anger and spat out.]
So yeah, that's it, I guess. If anyone needs this stuff, we're gonna be here a bit. Just say somethin' - 'cause if not, Rhyme, you an' me're goin' to the skatepark. Even if it ain't hundred percent done yet.
